The UC Davis Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has a focused group of committees that work toward Inclusion, Diversity, Anti-Racism, and Equity (I-DARE) in their units/divisions.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to bring together the work of unit-level DEI committees, highlight their success stories, provide a platform for sharing DEI trends, best practices, and resources, and identify opportunities for division-wide DEI initiatives.
 
OCP has committed to having a division-level I-DARE committee to partner with our individual units, elevating their I-DARE efforts and assisting with their goals. The members include:

Our Projects

The OCP IDARE Committee's first project was to address the identified issue of a lack of language interpreter services on campus. We now have a OCP contract with an outside vendor. As part of this committee work, we were able to obtain temporary funding through a Vision Grant from the UC Davis Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Division!
